What the letters mean
The letters compare styles for general ranked boxing as community writers sorted them on September 16, 2026. August 2026 boards put Chronos and Wolf in the top band with White Ash, and put Ghost one band lower. This page keeps the September letters and writes the August split on those rows. It does not average the letters.
What a low letter does not mean
Rarity is not the sort key. The developer says all styles are viable. A low letter means community boards do not recommend it as a default ranked main. It can still be the right style while you learn.

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.
S tier
Player decision Keep it if you can wait for Burn and then spend the heavy. Reroll only if you refuse to play that window.
Player decision Keep it as a default ranked style. The August split means it is not unanimously the top kit, but the later board puts it there.
A tier
Player decision Keep it if you play for reads. Do not reroll it because a September letter sits under Ghost.
Player decision Keep it for ranked pressure. The letter drop in September is a board change, not a confirmed nerf.
Player decision Keep it if you will wait. Aggressive players whiff the heavy and blame the style.
Player decision Keep it if you can play patient in Base. It is a poor first style if you only want to hold forward.
Player decision Keep it if you will spend the self-damage on purpose. Blind heavy spam is the way this kit loses.
Player decision Keep it only if you will switch on purpose. If you camp one mode, you paid the health cost for nothing.
Player decision Keep it if you already look for counter hits. It is not a replacement for Ghost's jab.
Player decision Keep it for outboxing. Reroll if you only fight inside dash range.
Player decision Keep the pull. Learn it from the in-game text first, then from a Deimos video, and expect the two to use different names.
B tier
Player decision Keep it if you enjoy the timing minigame. It is a poor hold if you want a style that works when you are late.
Player decision Keep it if you want in-fight pressure and you will not press backdash by habit.
Player decision Keep it if you already move before you punch. Static is the reason to learn it.
Player decision Keep it as a movement style. The September letter is lower than August. That is a board change, not a reason to delete the kit.
Player decision Keep it if you already defend and extend rounds. Reroll if your games end on the first heavy.
C tier
Player decision Keep it if you want stamina and you do not need a backdash. Do not keep it only because the rarity is Legendary.
Player decision Keep it while you are learning feints. It is not a long-term ranked main on the September board.
Player decision Keep it as a learning rare. The code dragonfish is a spin reward, not this style.
D tier
Player decision Do not delete it just for the letter if you already play the regen pattern. Do not chase it as a legendary.
Player decision Use it to practice counters. Do not treat the D as permanent. The boards moved this style more than almost any other.
Player decision Hold it only until you have a style whose kit you can name. The expired code hammer is not this style.
Player decision Use it for matches if it is all you have. Do not spend extra spins trying to get it.
Player decision Stay here for the first session. Leave when you want a gimmick, not because a board insulted it.
Player decision Fine while you learn heavies. Not a style to protect from a reroll once you have a kit you understand.
Player decision Use it if it is equipped and you are still learning. Do not chase it.
Player decision Useful as a block lesson. The expired code turtle is not this style.
